18th - 19th September, 2024
UTAC Millbrook, Bedfordshire

With a legacy spanning more than two-decades, biennial Defence industry exhibition, DVD, is THE EVENT for Defence industry, DE&S Delivery Teams, Army HQ and Defence community users of Land Equipment. Staged at UTAC Millbrook since 2003, DVD is a two-day event, jointly sponsored by Defence Equipment & Support (Land Equipment) and Army Headquarters – the MOD teams responsible for equipping and supporting the UK’s Armed Forces for current and future operations.

DVD provides an effective and efficient forum for all those involved in the Land Equipment sector, to develop ideas and generate a greater understanding of technologies, capabilities and requirements. Deliberately scheduled in the years between the biennial DSEI show, DVD remains an essential event in the Defence diary, enabling coordinated engagement through informal discussion, briefings, demonstrations and live displays. Stakeholders from across the MOD are invited to attend, to broaden perspectives and encourage innovation.

Exhibiting at DVD 2024

As industry exhibitors, you are encouraged to share your experience and innovative ideas. You can do this through demonstration of equipment and/or services, engagement with MOD staff and contributing to workshops. By doing so we can mutually develop solutions to meet existing and future Land capability requirements.

Benefits of Exhibiting at DVD

  • Engage with MOD staff to raise awareness of products or services on offer that could be used in Defence Accelerators or to fill land requirements. Demonstrate the strength and capability of land industry and its importance of industry in protecting the nation to senior government leadership.
  • Connect with personnel from the Army Headquarters to understand current capability gaps and user requirements and showcase potential systems or solutions that can meet requirements and close gaps.
  • Raise awareness of products and services to DE&S staff, enhancing their knowledge of the industrial base and products that could fulfil system requirements.
  • Develop B2B opportunities, share awareness of products and services to fulfil sub-contracts. Develop opportunities to develop products with other businesses.
  • Develop export opportunities by showcasing products to targeted International Defence Staff, seek support and advice from UK Government personnel on developing export opportunities.

Applications to exhibit at DVD2024 are now being taken.

Exhibitor applicants will have their applications adjudicated by MOD and notified of the decision in due course. This is to ensure that we have exhibitors that are relevant to the audience, which is primarily DE&S Delivery Teams, Army HQ and Defence community users of Land Equipment

There are two distinct areas where applicants will be able to exhibit their products or services:

  • Indoor shell scheme or space only stand within a carpeted venue
    • Potential exhibitors should note that there are now a very limited number of internal stands available and approval to exhibit by the MOD does not guarantee that a suitable internal space will be available. The DVD2024 Organising Team are looking at the feasibility of building additional internal exhibition space, should there be sufficient demand. This would be situated adjacent to the main catering area, just off the Steering Pad and all visitors would move through this in order to access the shuttle Bus service to Off Road, thus providing excellent footfall.
  • Outdoor exhibition space where you will be able to display both your larger static displays and static or demonstration vehicles
