Get ready for DVD2026

The UK’s biennial defence industry exhibition, sponsored by the National Armaments Director Group and Army Headquarters, is back and more crucial than ever. On 16 and 17 September 2026, defence industry, delivery teams, and users of land equipment will meet at UTAC Millbrook for two days of collaboration, innovation and demonstrations.

DVD2026 is the ideal opportunity to showcase your innovation and connect with decision- makers; whether you have a groundbreaking vehicle, a life-saving piece of equipment or a service that revolutionises logistics, this is the place to demonstrate its value. Engage directly with MOD staff, contribute to seminars and workshops and share your expertise to develop real-world solutions for the UK’s armed forces.

MOD Director Land Environment, Major General Lizzie Faithfull-Davies CBE explains:

“DVD is hugely important for defence procurement, encouraging collaboration between industry, army and NAD Group as collectively we seek to exploit science and technology to build a more modern and lethal Army.

“The relationships we have with our stakeholders are critical. I am looking forward to engaging with industry, alongside Army HQ and HQ Field Army staff. The event provides a unique opportunity for industry to gain a better understanding of MOD needs, through direct engagement with Army, and insight from the National Armaments Director Group on procurement and support issues, as well as industry-to-industry engagement.”

Connected for Combat – Aligning people, systems and decisions

DVD2026 shows the powerful impact we can have when UK defence partners are connected and armed forces, government and industry partners combine their experiences and strengths to design, deliver and exploit the capabilities our army and nation need.

The DVD2026 theme: Connected for Combat – Aligning people, systems and decisions reflects a critical evolution in how modern capability is generated, highlighting the necessity of joined-up organisations, integrated force elements and coherent decision-making across both defence and industry.

The narrative of connections underscores an increasingly integrated operating model. This approach demonstrates new ways of doing business in support of Defence Reform, ensuring that the Land Enterprise remains lethal, resilient and ready to meet the challenges of the future.

DVD2026 will serve as a vital opportunity to test the new 20/40/40 military strategy. It will demonstrate how elements of equipment can work together to reinforce one another and strengthen capabilities.

The event will feature a comprehensive programme of activities designed to reinforce the connections narrative and align people, systems and decisions. DVD2026 ensures that the UK’s most agile innovators and established industry partners are fully integrated into the future of Land Warfare.
