Programme of events
DVD is one of the most important events in the defence equipment
calendar. The event will provide a comprehensive overview of
Defence equipment and support services, including vehicles,
tented accommodation, clothing, food and medical supplies. DVD
presents a unique opportunity for the defence community to meet,
discuss, learn about and experience the equipment and support
that is critical to the success of the UK’s Armed Forces.
In addition to the 250+ exhibitors who will be present at the
event, a number of press briefings and announcements will take
place throughout DVD. These include:
Wednesday 25th June
10.00 – 11.00 MoD unveils its brand new command and liaison
vehicle
11.30 – 13.00 New range of hot weather menus for troops
13.30 – 15.00 New machine to improve treatment of battle
casualties
Thursday 26th June
10.00 – 11.00 New Ridgback armoured vehicle to debut at DVD
11.30 – 12.30 Briefing on Urgent Operational Requirements (UORs)
13.30 – 15.00 Army gets its kit on-line

Parking and registration
On your approach to Millbrook, please follow the signs for
visitor and press parking.
Shuttle buses will be available to transport members of the
press to the main concept centre where registration will take
place. Following registration, press will be required to attend
a short safety briefing before accessing the rest of the site.
Further details on the press briefings, exhibitor press packs
and information on media lunches taking place on both days at
DVD can all be obtained from the press office, which is located
on the steering pad outside the concept centre. |
