Before the event


Do I have to register my staff in advance?

Yes. All exhibitors must have obtained a badge before attending the event.


How do I pre-register my staff?
An online form will become available shortly to enable you to this.


I have already registered some staff, now I need to register more.
When you registered the staff originally the response you received included a link for this purpose – follow it.  Do not delete staff you booked previously (even if you know they will not be coming), add the new ones to the end of the list.  If you fill the page further pages will appear as necessary.


How do I apply for passes for my contractors?
Contractors must show a contractor pass, but we do not need individual names.  Just specify how many passes you need when you apply for your exhibitor badges.


I have requested contractor passes, and now I need more
When you registered your stand staff originally and requested contractor passes, the response you received included a link for this purpose – follow it.  Please enter the total number of passes you require, including any already ordered.


When is the latest date to apply for an invitation?
13th June 2012


What if I miss the deadline?

Don’t, as having your badges in advance will speed your entry.  Any staff arriving without badges will be directed to a registration area to collect them.  They must bring:

  • Photo ID
  • A business card in their name and your company name

How will I receive my badges and contractor passes?
They will all be mailed together to the stand manager


Can I invite guests?

If you want guests to visit you, please send them this link where they can apply for an invitation: if they meet MOD’s criteria for admission, they will receive one.

Getting to the event


What is the postcode for SatNav?
MK45 2JH.  If you have found our postal address from the web or elsewhere, please do not use that postcode – it is for our mail , and will take you to the wrong entrance and through some minor roads.  MK45 2JH will take you directly to the event entrance.

Admission procedures


What are the access hours for exhibitors and contractors during build up?

 

Saturday 16th June 2012

0800 to 1800 hours

Build of External Stands and Interior Space Only Stands by arrangement.

Sunday 17th June 2012

0800 to 1800 hours

Build of External Stands and Internal Space Only Stands by arrangement.

Monday 18th June 2012

Shell: 1200 to 2000 hours
Space: 0800 to 2000 hours

Build commences.
Concept 1, 2 & 3 shell scheme stands are available to build from 1200 hours onwards.

Tuesday 19th June 2012

0800 to 1800 hours

Has Concept 1, 2, 4 & 5.

 

Do I need a vehicle pass?
No


What arrangements are there for oversized vehicles?
Please ring your Zone Manager to discuss your requirements.


What documents must I bring with me?
You must bring your badge-card and photo-ID.  Bring the whole badge-card, do not detach the stub.


What types of photo-ID are acceptable?
Any third-party ID such as Passport, Driving License etc.


What if a colleague comes without ID?
You will have to leave your stand, come to the registration area and vouch for them personally.


At the event


Can I drive any of the vehicles?


Vehicles will be available on the Off Road area for delegates to drive. All delegates wishing to do so will need to go through the safety briefing beforehand which is located on stand SP-01 and SP-02. You will need to show a valid driving licence to be able to drive the vehicles.


Can I bring children?
No.  Persons under the age of 18 cannot be admitted under any circumstances.


Can I bring my dog?
Only guide dogs are admitted


Is photography permitted?

Yes, on the 20th and 21st.  It is strictly forbidden on other days, and cameras cannot be brought on site during build-up and break-down.


Are there any meeting rooms?
There will be meeting rooms availble within the show environs. Further information will be published in due course.
